The customer
Eutraco is active in the logistics sector, providing companies with support in warehousing, transportation, sea and air freight, and customs services.
Purpose
A customer of Eutraco (active in oil processing) needed to comply with specific environmental requirements, necessitating the installation of containment barriers in the warehouse.
Problem-solution
In the event of a fire in the warehouse, the sprinklers are activated, causing the extinguishing water to come into contact with the oils. This contaminated water can pose risks to both employees and the environment. When the containment barriers close, they prevent the water from leaving the storage area and infiltrating the ground.
Our team provided the complete firewater containment solution:
19 fully automatic containment barriers (operated by compressed air) at the loading docks.
2 semi-automatic containment barriers at the emergency doors.
2 semi-automatic containment barriers at the gates.
The barriers are 30 cm high and equipped with leak and liquid detection systems.
