Insulation of storage tanks, piping and equipment

Through insulation, tracing and insulation jackets, you keep your liquids at the desired temperature and ensure that your pipes do not freeze. CGK's insulation provides solutions to:

  Whether your pipes or systems need frost resistance, heat retention, condensation prevention, icing or even insulation up to 250°C, we have specific materials for every situation.

Using our infrared (IR) camera, we visually determine how much heat/cold is lost. Based on that data, we make a payback analysis that shows how quickly you recover the investment. Insulating pipelines, storage tanks, etc. to improve energy efficiency is a very economical solution. The investment pays for itself in a short period of 1 to 2 years.

Insulating against heat and cold from outside

CGK Group ensures flawless temperature management of storage tanks, pipes, sensors and valves.

This means, for instance, that we ensure that your cooling installations and chemical processes are not affected by the heat. But we also provide frost protection for pipes and installations during the winter, for example. This way, your chemical processes maintain their high efficiency.

Insulating hot pipes

When dealing with hot pipes, e.g. when transporting steam or thermal oil, it is important that heat is not lost along the way. Through expert heating and insulation, we can counteract this heat loss: mesh or lamella blankets in rock wool, Armaflex, PUR sprays and shells, insulation jackets, fireproof transit, plating in aluminium, stainless steel or PVC... Insulation of hot pipes also avoids radiant heat, condensation and unnecessary energy costs.

Everything is carefully measured and fitted so that no blind spots remain.

Insulating cold pipes

When transporting cryogenic liquids (e.g. liquid nitrogen or liquid helium), it is important that the piping does not heat up, so that the liquid remains at the same (low) temperature. Moreover, we insulate cold piping to avoid radiant cold, frostbite, bacterial formation, condensation or unnecessary energy costs.
