firewater collection for storage warehouse with adhesives and silicone (Bison)

Purpose

Install the necessary containment barriers to collect firewater according to the applicable safety measures (PGS15).

Problem-solution

When a fire breaks out in the storage warehouse, the sprinklers activate. Firewater contaminated with packaging material, glue, silicone, ... should not be allowed to seep into the ground. After all, this could cause major damage to the environment.

In Bison's storage warehouse, CGK installed 30 containment barriers that communicate with the fire alarm centre. As soon as there is a fire in a particular compartment of the warehouse, the barriers close at the entrance and exit. This prevents water from escaping.

In total, we installed 6 containment barriers specifically for loading docks and 24 'regular' barriers.

Based on the size of the space, we determined the height of the firewater containment barrier. The smaller the space, the higher the barrier.

We work exclusively with the best quality containment barriers from German supplier Thomas.
