Problem-solution
Probleem
This customer has a continuous powder coating plant with multiple pretreatment processes: degreasing, pickling, phosphating... Eventually, all wastewater ends up in different tanks. Each time, that wastewater is manually pumped to IBCs, ready for disposal and processing.
Solution
- CGK Group first installed a double-walled, Vlarem-worthy 30 m³ tank , which collects all wastewater. A pneumatic, self-priming pump propels the diverse wastewater to the tank. Each collection point contains a fixed and a flexible HDPE pipe, allowing each tank to empty perfectly. Then a bulk truck empties the tank through a suction line. Result: a lot of wastewater is disposed of at the same time.
- CGK Group automatiseerde de installatie via een slimme sturing: de Siemens PLC. Rekening houdend met de Vlarem-regels rond overvulling, maar ook om de pomp eenvoudig te schakelen. Op de kleppen staan immers terugmeldingen.
