Safety cabinets
We consume large quantities of flammable and/or hazardous (liquid) substances every day. Because leaks or vapours of these substances pose great risks, they are often the cause of fires and injuries, it is important to always use a dedicated safety cabinet.
In laboratories, it is also important to work with an acid safety cabinet. That fume cupboard is a kind of fume hood under which the lab technician works to minimise exposure to harmful substances.
