Purpose
Improve chemicals management.
Problem-solution
- CGK Group installed a skid of six mother-daughter tanks at the water treatment site, including pumps and piping. Products dosed from the tanks include phosphoric acid, polymer, flocculant and javel. Because some products are frost sensitive, the tanks were insulated, while internal temperatures are kept constant by tracing.
- A mother-daughter tank is cut to deal with dangerous situations. Consider moving IBCs filled with corrosive substances. Logistically, the mother-daughter tank is also a perfect match: chemical replenishment is easily scheduled.
