Firewater containment barriers with liquid-tight L-barrier (SNL Lidl)

Problem

Because SNL has many products with environmentally hazardous liquids, permanent containment was necessary.

Solution

CGK Group chose containment barriers so as not to interfere with internal traffic. On the long stretch between the racks came a permanent steel L-barrier 200 mm high. And 100% liquid-proof.

Between the rows came 2 automatic barriers with leak detection probes, directly connected to the fire alarm center. The leak detection probes ensure that the barriers close automatically, capturing extinguishing water and leaks.

To buffer the fire extinguishing water, CGK Group opted to use part of the sewer network. So at the end of the sewer drain came a sewer sealer. This works both automatically and manually, completely in sync with the closing barriers.
