The certified system consists of 4 barrier bodies equipped with seals: 2 long and 2 short pieces.
After bringing the fire under control, you can place this system in complete safety:
- Form a rectangle around the electric car or batteries.
- Press the seals with tensioners, weights or via water.
- Fill the area with water or foam so that the battery (lithium battery) is submerged.
- Optional: drag the extinguishing blanket over the electric car and bath.
- After extinguishing, the contaminated extinguishing water can be disposed of in a controlled manner.
3 ways to tighten the system watertight
Liquid-proofing can be done in 3 ways:
- the barriers are filled with water and the weight compresses the seals
- with additional weights on the barriers
- with ceiling tensioners (ideal for underground car parks)

OPTION: fire blanket
The fire blanket isolates the fire quickly (within seconds) and safely. Thus, the fire blanket prevents surrounding vehicles from also posing a fire hazard or the fire from spreading to the facility during loading. Moreover, the blanket immediately isolates the smoke without spreading toxic fumes or substances. People and the environment are thus protected.

Easy to use
- Place the fire blanket on the ground in front of or behind the mobile fire extinguisher and electric vehicle and unroll it.
- Grasp the handles and drag the fire blanket in one continuous motion across the formed pool and vehicle.
- Make sure the fire blanket is tight on the ground.
