Having an unloading bay is a legal requirement when filling and/or unloading your storage tank. In any case, provide an unloading bay for the filling point and the truck coupling, regardless of the tank volumes.
A professional unloading bay bears the weight of the truck, but is also impermeable to avoid underground leaks. Moreover, spilled liquids should not spread, thanks to raised edges or sloping slopes. Dispose of the collected substances by authorised collectors or via in-house water treatment.
Is the unloading bay outside? Then avoid open connections between the bay and sewers. CGK installs a valve, which remains closed during the filling process.
a flexible drip tray can also be used perfectly as a (temporary) unloading slope.
