Manual double vertical pivot containment barrier - TYPE T MB BVD
The manual double vertical pivot containment barrier is designed to capture and retain contaminated firewater and chemical spillages at doorways and gate openings. It opens and closes manually, making it suitable for industrial sites where no electricity or compressed air is available, or where the doorway is used less frequently.
How the double vertical pivot barrier works
The barriers are equipped with a hinge that allows them to be manually positioned in both vertical and horizontal positions. In the horizontal position, the barriers are secured to the floor in the centre of the doorway with a quick release hinge.
Unlocking the tensioner and resetting the barriers is also done manually. The barriers are held in a vertical position by a locking mechanism.

*Height is dependable on the amount of extinghuishing water you need to collect.
