Upgrade gas scrubber line (Laviedor)
The customer
Laviedor N.V. processes secondary raw materials and chicken and pig manure into organic soil improvers.
Purpose
A renewed pipeline for gas washing.
Problem-solution
Problem
The pipe between the biofield and the scrubber showed several leaks. In addition, the emission had strongly impacted the wall.
Solution
- CGK Group broke down the existing rectangular duct and placed pipe supports against the wall.
- The pipes, 2 meters in diameter, were welded in our workshop. Good for a flow rate of 100,000 m³/hour, but also fitted with sliding members because plastic expands under temperature. To avoid backflow of liquid to the scrubber, the pipe came under a slope.
- Above both scrubbers came a rectangular tube measuring 2 by 2 meters and 10.5 meters in length. Arrangements for moving the tube were made in the workshop.
