Manual loading bay containment barrier - TYPE T MB LRA
The manual loading bay containment barrier is designed to capture and retain contaminated firewater and chemical spillages at doorways and gate openings. It opens and closes manually, making it suitable for industrial sites where no electricity or compressed air is available, or where the doorway is used less frequently.
How the manual loading bay barrier works
This manual containment barrier has a U-shaped design, making it ideal for use at loading bays. At rest, the barrier is positioned beside and above the gate opening.
The barrier is hinged on both the left and right sides, allowing it to be moved manually between the vertical and horizontal positions. In the horizontal closed position, it is secured to the floor with two quick-release fasteners on each side of the barrier.
Unlocking the fasteners and returning the barrier to its vertical rest position are also carried out manually. The barrier is held in the vertical position by a locking mechanism.
