Insulation for mother-daughter tank outdoor installation

The jacket of the inner tank is wrapped with aluminum foil. This ensures that heat transfer is homogeneous. An electric self-regulating tracing is placed in spiral form around the jacket.

The tracing has an output of 15W/m and is equipped with a thermostat and pT100 temperature sensor. Seven loops are placed around the tank at 150 mm intervals.

Then the tank shell is insulated with lamella blanket with an insulation thickness of 100mm. All seams of the insulation are taped with Alu-tape. The insulation is buckled with plastic storm straps.
