Acquisition of Vigotec Constructions: we strengthen our expertise in chemical storage tanks
We are taking another targeted step in our growth. With the acquisition of the plastic tank building activities of Vigotec Constructions, we are strengthening our expertise in chemical storage and process installations.
After previous acquisitions of DG Kunststoftechniek (2024) and Hydromat (2025), we continue to invest in what we are strong in: safe, sustainable and compliant solutions for industry in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Targeted expansion within our core business
We are not taking over the entire company, but specifically the activities surrounding plastic storage tanks and associated structures. These fit seamlessly with our offer in chemical processes: from storage and piping systems to control and controlled use of chemicals.
This expansion will allow us to support our customers even better over the entire process, with solutions that meet all applicable environmental and safety standards.
Production and craftsmanship bundled in Antwerp
We are integrating the entire team and machinery of Vigotec Constructions into our production site in Antwerp. This allows us to work more efficiently and be closer to customers in Antwerp and Limburg.
Thanks to this takeover, we can organize large and small orders more efficiently, plan them more flexibly and execute them faster, without compromising on quality, safety or conformity.
Stronger in safety, quality and regulation
By combining the know-how of Vigotec Constructions with our own expertise, we strengthen our specialization in solutions that meet the strictest standards, such as VLAREM and Kiwa. This way, we continue to build a strong reference position in the Benelux for chemical storage, handling and process installations.
To keep that focus sharp, we are transferring the supply and processing of plastics (our "Plastic Parts" department) to VEP-Engineered Plastics. They specialize in semi-finished and technical plastics.
Continuing to build big and small projects together
With the acquisition of Vigotec Constructions and the surrender of our Plastic Parts, we are not only strengthening our technical strength, but also making a clear choice for the future. By organizing our activities more sharply and combining expertise, we can continue to grow in larger and more complex projects, without losing our accessibility for smaller questions.
